Michael Minor

Michael Minor is the president and owner of Michael Minor and Associates, Inc. (MMA), a noise, vibration, and air quality consulting firm in Portland, Oregon that specializes in performing technical analyses for major transportation projects. Mr. Minor started MMA in 1990 after spending several years as a consultant at CH2M Hill. Prior to working at CH2M Hill, Mr. Minor was an application engineer at Bruel and Kjaer Instruments, a leading manufacturer of noise and vibration testing equipment. Since starting MMA, Mr. Minor has performed all types of noise studies, including small business redevelopments and land use change, large highway and multimodal transportation project, light rail and commuter rail projects, and measuring rocket launches in Alaska and Hawaii. MMA has now provided these services for over 30 years and brings a strong understanding of state and federal regulations and guidelines for noise and vibration analysis.

Melinda Cordasco

Melinda has performed technical noise studies for the Seattle to Ballard Link Light Rail and assisted with noise analysis of the Rainier R-Line BRT and the SR 522 BRT, both for Sound Transit. Melinda was the lead analyst on the Federal Way City Center Improvement Project, with new ramps to and from I-5, new roundabouts on the ramps, and a new roadway connection across I-5 to aid in reducing congestion in this area.

Rob Roy

Rob Roy is an experienced field technical support person with over ten years of experience. He has worked on multiple projects for highway, transit, and commercial and industrial projects, along with project construction. An accomplished custom metal fabricator, he enjoys magnet fishing and metal detecting in his spare time.

Roger Whitaker, PE

Senior Transportation Noise Engineer Roger Whitaker is a registered professional acoustical engineer in Oregon and is currently involved in several highway projects, including traffic noise studies and widening projects where he is responsible for the analysis and mitigation of potential noise impacts. Mr. Whitaker's noise analysis and control background has focused primarily on transportation and industrial areas. Mr. Whitaker has worked with MM&A for over fifteen years after a career as the senior acoustical engineer at CH2M HILL.
